“Once in ‘06 Ross Bennett told me, after I bombed very hard, ‘you’re funny...but these people have no time for your cleverness. Get to the point.” That was huge. That rewired everything. Thank you Ross.”

It’s not everyday that you have the opportunity to work with an artist. Ross is a master of his craft. When I work with him, he doesn’t try to substitute himself for you, he progressively teaches you different techniques to improve what you want to say. He has a genuine and sincere interest in what you write, he doesn’t try to steer you on another path, he just helps you to improve your set. Working with him is like working with a magician who, by changing a few words, transforms a flat and sad line into a brilliant joke, and who progressively learns you the “Art of Comedy”.

“It is nearly impossible to find a successful comedian who is also a generous and supportive teacher. Ross is that comedian. We met over Zoom for a 1:1 coaching session. With patience, generosity and a commitment to the funny, Ross coached me through the revisions. It was the best hour of comedy writing I have experienced as a new comic. At the end of the session, I had a set of revised jokes that sounded like me and were much funnier. I left without feeling like I had compromised my "voice"…something I'm working on in my life…. thank you for respecting that in me and other comedians.“
